Privacy Policy (LGPD)

How we handle your church's, members' and guests' data.

This translation is provided for your convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Portuguese version prevails, available at ideescalas.com/privacidade.

1. Our Role and the LGPD

In accordance with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law No. 13,709/2018), the Church acts as the Controller of its members' and guests' data and is responsible for collecting their consent. IDE Escalas acts exclusively as a Processor, handling data in an automated way solely for the operation of the platform.

2. Data We Collect

We store registration data (name, email, phone, photo), church journey data, group participation, scheduling history and the information needed for Kids Check-in (children's names and emergency contacts for WhatsApp alerts).

3. Kids Check-in (Sensitive Data)

Minors' data is recorded by the Church or by parents for the strict purpose of ensuring the children's safety and correct release at events. This data is not used for any other marketing purpose.

4. Data Sharing

We don't sell or rent data. We share information only with essential infrastructure providers, payment gateway partners (Stripe/Asaas) strictly for processing subscriptions and donations, and with the ad measurement platforms described in item 5.

5. Cookies and Ad Measurement

We use our own cookies and those of the Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google platforms to measure the effectiveness of our ads and understand how visitors reach us. These cookies only track browsing on this site and in the signup area; they never reach the data of members, guests or children registered by the Church inside the platform.

When a person in charge completes a church's registration or subscribes to a plan, we tell these platforms that the conversion happened. The email and phone used in that report are hashed with SHA-256 in the browser itself, before any transmission — the platforms never receive this data in readable text. The sole purpose is measuring campaign results.

This tracking doesn't exist in the app installed on the phone (Android and iOS): it only works in the browser.

6. Retention and Deletion

The Church's and its members' data remain stored while the subscription is active. In case of cancellation, the data will be kept for a 30-day safety period to make a possible reactivation easier and, after that period, may be permanently deleted or anonymized.
